What are the payment and funding limits for my Nickel account?

Payment limits  : 

You can increase or reduce your payment limits in your Nickel Web Client Area or Application.

Cash withdrawal : 

  • Level 1 (default at account opening): €300 over 7 calendar days 
  • Level 2: €600 over 7 calendar days
  • Level 3: €1.000 € over 7 calendar days

💡Your limit is affected if you withdraw cash, but also if you deposit money on an online gambling site or shop.

Payment by card: 

  • Level 1 (default at account opening): €1.500€ over 30 calendar days
  • Level 2: €3.000 € over 30 calendar days
  • Level 3 : €5.000 € over 30 calendar days

Wire transfer : 

  • €30.000 over 30 calendar days
  • For SMS transfers: maximum €100 per transfer and €200 accumulated over 7 calendar days. 

For the first two weeks after opening your Nickel account, transfers are limited to €750.

  • 30 calendar days: your limit is reset to 0 on the 1st of each month 
  • 7 calendar days: your limit is reset to 0 every Monday

Limits on funding: 

Cash deposits or account top-up by bank card: 

  • 950 € accumulated over 30 calendar days 
  • 250 € in cash at the time of activation of the Nickel card 

Transfers : 

  • Incoming transfers: unlimited. You can fund your account without limit. 

30 calendar days: your limit is reset to 0 on the 1st of each month

For Nickel Youth Accounts (12-17 years old) 

  • €150 cash withdrawals over 7 calendar days
  • €350 payments over 30 calendar days 
  • €350 outgoing transfers over 30 calendar days (every 1st of the month)
  • €250 cash deposits or card payments over 30 calendar days 
     

The legal representative of the minor may request an increase in the limits when the minor is 16 years old or older. The new limits may not exceed those of an adult customer.

  • 30 calendar days: your limit is reset to 0 on the 1st of each month 
  • 7 calendar days: your limit is reset to 0 every Monday
